Photography
I am a photographer based in Saint Louis, Missouri. My favorite subjects are people, landscapes and wildlife. I shoot a mix of Sony and Nikon mirrorless gear, with my favorite combinations being Nikon z6ii + z 24-70mm f/2.8 S and Sony a1 + 70-200mm f/2.8 GM ii. Through my years of shooting, I've had the pleasure of meeting interesting people, beautiful and confident models, and beautiful people who were not confident. One of my strengths is the ability to strike up conversations with models, putting them at ease and getting them to relax and be their best. If you'd like a portrait session for yourself or with your loved ones, including fur babies, contact me and let's go from there.
Education
I have a Bachelor's degree in Forestry and a Master's degree in Geography (GIS and Remote Sensing). I love forests, animals and being around nature.
Data Engineering
At my day job, I manage multiple databases, code in several scripting languages, design and optimize systems, automate data pipelines and troubleshoot complicated data-related problems. I work on Oracle, SQL Server, Postgres and Azure SQL Databases, Power BI, Streamsets, Striim, etc. My day job affords me the luxury to pursue photography.
Badminton
If I am not sleeping, working, eating or out shooting, I'm most likely at the badminton court. Badminton is one of my addictions, so much so that even when my legs feel tired and my hands hurt, I keep playing. If you have not played competitive badminton, I encourage you to pick up a racket and try. It's one of the fastest racket sports in the world and it can get really competitive and fun.
Animals
I love animals - especially of the cat family, large and small. I have 2 wonderful cats that I take great care of, and they in turn, return love and affection in a way only a cat can - by ignoring me for 90% of the time. I donate to charities that involve animals or kids. They're the most helpless sections of the world due to how crazy we humans have become. If each one of us took care of one animal and one kid, the world would be more amazing than it already is.
